Clients / Trace Enterprises

Website revamp and SEO overhaul.

A twenty-year consultancy with three service lines, deep expertise and a website that didn't say so. Developers, miners and government agencies were landing on a home page that explained everything and sold nothing.

The brief

Trace Enterprises works across Western Australia and the Northern Territory in heritage, ecology and town planning. The work is specialist and the clients are serious: mining companies, developers, infrastructure builders, government and Aboriginal Corporations. The old site read like a brochure, loaded slowly, and ranked for almost none of the searches those clients actually make.

What we did

Structure that matches how clients search

One page per service line and one per region, so "heritage survey Pilbara" and "flora and fauna survey Perth" each have a real home instead of a paragraph on a general page.

A full copy rewrite

Every page rewritten in the firm's voice, leading with the outcome the client is buying: approvals, cleared sites, surveys that stand up to scrutiny.

Technical overhaul

Faster loads, clean headings, schema for the organisation and services, internal links between related work, and the clutter removed.

Google Business Profile and listings

Categories, service areas, photos and posts brought up to date; directory listings corrected so every mention agrees.

Guides and news that bring the right people in

An ongoing programme of clear, useful guides on the questions clients ask before they call: what a survey involves, how long approvals take, what the rules are in each state.

A site that now says what Trace does, where, and for whom, in the words clients use when they search, with a publishing rhythm that keeps it moving.
