- Information about your website and online presence that we gather from public sources to prepare a snapshot, audit or content.
- Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We don't receive or store your card number.
- Standard technical data when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, collected through our hosting provider's logs.
Why we collect it
- To prepare and deliver the services you ask for, including the free visibility snapshot.
- To issue invoices and process payments.
- To reply to your enquiries and send service updates.
- To send occasional information about our services. You can opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or using the link in any email.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, website hosting (Vercel), and SEO data providers used to analyse your website. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We don't sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep client records for seven years to meet Australian tax and record-keeping obligations. Enquiry details that don't become client work are deleted after 24 months.
Security
Data is stored in access-controlled, encrypted systems. No online transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Access and correction
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@seosurgelab.com. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first; if you're not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
